Over the last several days there has been more information regarding the Immigration Executive Order signed by President Trump and its implementation. This is what we know thus far.

The executive order pertains to individuals/employees that are citizens of the following countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that those born in one of the above listed countries AND hold a valid U.S. “green card” will not be affected by the ban. However, we continue to recommend that these individuals do not travel outside of the US unless absolutely necessary. Additionally, the Department of State has confirmed that there are NO plans to expand the travel ban to include any other countries other than the seven it already pertains to. That being said, we advise that those who have non- immigrant status and are from Egypt, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Colombia, Venezuela, Southern Philippines, Trans-Sahara (Mali), or Sulu/Sulawesi Seas littoral seek legal advice or check the Department of State website prior to travel outside of the United States.

To reiterate, the Executive Order only pertains to the seven original countries listed: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

We apologize for the confusion but due to the fluidity of the executive order, the information regarding its implementation is constantly changing. It is not our intention to create any panic. However, we want to give individuals as much information and notice as possible.
