Kitch attorneys Mike Watza and Carina Kraatz were asked by clients to organize and present a webinar to local governments across the State of Michigan on the subject of The Impact of COVID-19 On Municipal Cyber Security. The program was joined by IT professionals from Local Government and both University and Private Sector Experts. Michael J. Watza heads the governmental litigation and affairs practice at the Kitch firm. Mr. Watza’s areas of concentration include litigated, legislative and administrative solutions on behalf of municipal, non-profit and private sector clients in the areas of Telecommunications, Energy, Complex Litigation and Legislative Consulting.

Carina M. Kraatz is a principal in the firm’s Detroit office. She focuses her practice on commercial and construction litigation as well as intellectual property, technology, and bankruptcy issues. Ms. Kraatz’s intellectual property practice includes patent and trademark prosecution and litigation on a variety of issues including image misappropriation and infringement. She also works with the firm’s healthcare business/regulation practice on a variety of business and technical issues.
