The following attorneys have been promoted to Principal:

Genevieve Delonis focuses her practice on birth trauma litigation. Ms. Delonis received her J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. She also earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan. Ms. Delonis is AV® Peer Review Rated (the highest rating) by LexisNexis/Martindale-Hubbell, attesting to her legal ability and professional ethics, based upon confidential opinions of Bar colleagues and the Judiciary. Christina Doyle focuses her work on the defense of hospitals and health care providers in professional malpractice litigation. Ms. Doyle received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University.

Terence Durkin focuses on defense of hospitals and healthcare providers in professional malpractice litigation. He joined the firm in 2002, after clerking for the Honorable Thomas S. Eveland of the 56th Circuit Court. Mr. Durkin received his B.A. in political science from Millikin University and his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was Article Editor of the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.

Ryan Dempsey has focuses his practice on asbestos and mass tort litigation. Mr. Dempsey received his J.D. from the Cleveland State University-Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He received his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Law and Society, from Michigan State University. Mr. Dempsey was named a Rising Star in 2011 and 2012 by Super Lawyers. Robert Welch focuses his practice on birth trauma and medical malpractice litigation. Mr. Welch earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Minor in Japanese from Western Michigan University before earning his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he was a Honor’s Scholarship Recipient and graduated on the Dean’s List. Mr. Welch was named a Rising Star in 2012 and 2013 by Super Lawyers. Rising Stars are a select group of attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or who have practiced for ten years or less.

Keith Wright has concentrated his practice on health care business transactions and regulation, tax exemption law, medical staff matters, commercial issues, and commercial litigation. Mr. Wright has done extensive work on accountable care organizations, peer review processes and IRS conflict of interest policy and rules in health care setting. He has authored articles appearing in national and regional publications on medical staff issues. He received his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy Law School where he served as an associate editor for the Law Review. Mr. Wright also holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy and a B.S. in Finance from Wayne State University. Mr. Wright is active in several professional organizations and has presented and published multiple articles on legal issues facing the healthcare industry. The following attorney has been promoted to Senior Associate:

Kally Goodwin focuses her practice on long term care and home health care regulatory matters, as well as healthcare fraud cases. Ms. Goodwin also brings experience in the assisted living arena. Ms. Goodwin received her J.D. magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she was on the Assistant Board of Editors for Law Review. She received a Bachelor of Arts in French from Western Michigan University.
