Laura Witty is a principal in the firm's birth trauma defense, a practice that has set a new national standard of service in birth trauma defense.  She takes a leadership role in the firm's national birth trauma program.

In addition to her distinguished legal practice, Ms. Witty is an editor and frequent contributor to the Kitch publication, Birth Trauma News.  Ms. Witty has also published several articles and given lectures on birth trauma defense.  She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Negligence and Litigation Sections.

Ms. Witty received her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she participated in the University’s London Law Programme.  She also earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan, where she was a member and captain of the University’s ski team.  Ms. Witty is also a USSA Certified Downhill Ski Racing Coach.
