John Wasung heads Kitch’s Toledo, Ohio office.  Since joining the firm in 1986, Wasung has focused on litigation in a number of areas, including medical malpractice defense, auto negligence, mass tort litigation, insurance coverage, and trucking liability.  Mr. Wasung has successfully handled dozens of jury trials, and has been designated a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Wasung is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Ohio, as well as admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts of Eastern Michigan and Northern Ohio, and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Bar Associations of Michigan and Ohio, as well as the Society of Ohio Hospital Attorneys, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys and the Trucking Industry Defense Association.

Mr. Wasung received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Michigan.
