Mary Catherine Storen is a principal in the firm's birth trauma defense practice, a group that has earned a national reputation. Based in the firm’s Lansing office, Ms. Storen has more than 15 years of experience, and has developed a special expertise in birth trauma defense litigation.

She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Inforum (formerly the Women’s Economic Club of Detroit) and the Catholic Lawyers Society. She has also lectured on obstetrical issues and birth trauma defense.

Ms. Storen received her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she was a member of the Frank Murphy Honor Society.  She also earned a B.A. with honors in Economics from Michigan State University.
