Kitch - Attorneys & Counselors
Government Affairs & Negotiation

Kitch firm attorneys offer expertise in government-related negotiation at the local, state and federal levels.  The firm's efforts have involved virtually all areas of governmental regulation on behalf of and with public municipalities and private clients alike.

As general counsel for multiple governmental and private entities, Kitch attorneys routinely interact with legislative, executive and regulating bodies, assisting clients in weaving public policy at the federal, state and local level, in a manner that works best for the client.

Several attorneys in the firm have served in various areas of government administration (including health profession licensing).  In addition, the firm's affiliation with a premier Lansing-based lobbying firm, which has a satellite located within the firm's Detroit office, enhances its internal capabilities in the governmental arena.  With these resources, the firm is able to effectively assist clients in solving problems for and with governmental entities and expediting decision-making processes.

The Kitch firm has been involved in the drafting and negotiation of legislation regarding tort reform impacting medical malpractice, product liability, police pursuit, automobile liability, firearms manufacturer liability, telecommunications and cable bills (at both the state and federal level), and governmental authority formation and dissolution, among other matters.
