Michael O'Boyle takes a lead role in the firm's workers' disability compensation practice. Since joining the firm over 20 years ago, Mr. O'Boyle has developed an expertise in dealing with workers' compensation claims and has tried over 100 cases, with more than two-thirds resulting in a no cause or closed award for his clients.
Mr. O'Boyle is licensed to practice law in Michigan and the U.S. District Court of Eastern Michigan. In addition to his distinguished legal practice, Mr. O'Boyle is an editor and frequent contributor to the firm's publication, the Michigan Workers' Disability Compensation Newsletter. He also serves as an instructor for frequent in-house educational programs at the firm.
Mr. O'Boyle received his J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law. He earned a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Western Michigan University, where he was a member of the Honors College. Mr. O'Boyle is an avid runner and has competed in a number of events, including the Detroit Free Press International Marathon.
