Ms. Iafrate is an associate principal with the firm's Detroit office who focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense litigation and premises liability defense. She served as law clerk to Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court. Ms. Iafrate received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. She also earned a B.A. from Wayne State University, majoring in Political Science. She was recognized as a Top Lawyer by DBusiness Magazine in 2014. Ms. Iafrate is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and is licensed to practice law in Michigan. She is also an active member of the Michigan Society of Health Care Risk Management.
Ms. Cook is an associate principal with the firm. She focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation. Ms. Cook received her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Journal. She also received a B.A. with honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She was named a Rising Star in 2013 - 2016 by Super Lawyers. Ms. Cook is licensed to practice law in Michigan and Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Kraatz is an associate principal in the firm's Detroit office. She focuses her practice on commercial and construction litigation as well as intellectual property and bankruptcy issues. She also works with firm's healthcare business/regulation practice on a variety of business and technical issues. Ms. Kraatz received her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in Detroit, Michigan and her LL.B. from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law in Ontario, Canada. Ms. Kraatz has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2010 and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts of Eastern and Western Michigan as well as being registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
