Julia McNelis is a principal who focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense. In over 20 years her practice has included birth trauma and all types of personal injury defense. Ms. McNelis brings to her practice several years of experience working as a registered nurse and extra-corpeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technician, which provides her with a unique understanding of her clients' medical issues.
As part of her distinguished legal practice, Ms. McNelis has presented educational programs to nurses and physicians covering numerous issues related to birth trauma, care of patients and charting. She has also served as a guest lecturer to nurse practitioner students at Wayne State University on liability issues.
