Margaret Chamberlain is a member of the firm’s long term care practice, dealing with a variety of legal issues, including healthcare law, healthcare fraud, reimbursement, administrative law and professional liability. In addition to over 10 years of legal experience, Ms. Chamberlain brings to her clients the unique perspective of having worked as a social worker in several long term care facilities.
Ms. Chamberlain is licensed to practice law in Michigan and the U.S. District Courts of Eastern and Western Michigan. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Health Care Law Section, as well as the Aging Services of Michigan and the Legal and Legislative Committees of the Health Care Association of Michigan. As part of her distinguished legal practice, Ms. Chamberlain also frequently lectures on legal issues facing long term care providers to healthcare professionals across the state of Michigan.
Ms. Chamberlain received her J.D., cum laude, from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
